SSO Logistics launches new Contract Logistics Division for retail sector

Eleven years ago, we started life as a straightforward general haulage operation. Since then, we’ve been busy – adding Pallet-Track for pallet network deliveries, achieving BRC accreditation for our warehousing, expanding into Bonded & Freeport Warehousing, and building out international freight and customs clearance.

You’d think that would be enough services for one logistics business…

Apparently not. 🙂

Because today, we’re proud to announce the launch of our new Contract Logistics Division, dedicated specifically to supporting the retail sector.

What does this mean for retailers?

Our new division is built around the real-world pressures of retail – tight delivery windows, safety, compliance, and the need for responsive communication 24/7.

Here’s what we’re bringing to the table:

✅ Retail store deliveries, 24/7, 7 days a week
Whether it’s early morning, late at night, weekends or peak trading periods, we keep your shelves stocked and your stores moving.
✅ 24-hour in-house office cover
No faceless call centres – just real people who know your operation, your routes, and your expectations. When you call, you get someone who understands your business.
✅ Safety-first, fully trained drivers
Our drivers are trained in all aspects of safety and site requirements, helping you stay compliant and keeping your teams, customers, and stock protected.
✅ Single and double deck capability
We can scale with your volumes – from standard store deliveries to high-volume, multi-drop operations.
